It’s Ok, if You are Not Ok.
It’s rough out there right now.
And those of us who are highly sensitive and empathic are really feeling it.
This runs contrary to what many people perceive about clinicians, healers, teachers, mentors…
That we have it all together, all of the time.
While it is important for all of us - even as adults - to have role models to aspire to, to emulate,
It is vital to recognize that even those role models are human too.
Everyone struggles with experiences of sadness, depression, anxiety, fear, shame, embarrassment, self-doubt, regret… these are normal human things.
When I sheepishly admitted to a supervisor I admired that I was struggling with anxiety, hopelessness, and depression, I was floored at his causal and compassionate reflection of this being a reality for most therapists.
The pain we are witnessing outside ourselves in the world these days can feel even more intense if it touches tender places within us. Sometimes it's more than compassion fatigue and burnout.
So, go gently these days.
Say no to extra projects or gatherings, unless they feel nourishing to you.
Rest.
Take alone space as you need it.
Put your feet in the earth.
And if you think I can help, I am here to help you, too. Check out my new half-day retreat option below.
We are not meant to walk through this alone.
Sending quiet strength,
Caitlin
This is not just about your job, it's how you want to walk through the world.
This retreat is for you if:
You feel out of sync with your career.
It feels like you are giving up a piece of yourself as you strive toward success.
You excel in your practice as a healer and leader, but your heart is calling you toward a path that feels forbidden in mainstream medicine.
You know you need to leave your job, but the only alternative pathways you can see don’t seem quite right either.
Taking insurance or offering your services below market value feels safer than really addressing your money and self-worth issues (you know we healers all have them).
It seems easier to remain in a professional role that feels known than to really claim your healing gifts that might be questioned by others.
You are not really sure whether you can trust yourself or your intuition.
You have a sense that being a healer went badly for you in a past lifetime.
Even though you have completed several certifications, you are afraid you still don’t know enough or have enough training to really claim your identity as a healer.
This retreat will help you:
Begin to trust your intuition and honor your unique healing gifts.
Learn to accept your Self as being good enough, owning and trusting that your training and experience is already sufficient for you to claim your identity as a healer.
Empower you to shift how you are working with your clients so that it aligns with your healing gifts.
Clarify what meaningful and strategic action you can take toward living a life that integrates your holistic health and healing practices into your everyday life.
Create a clear vision for how to get closer to making the major shifts in your career that your heart has been calling for (and maybe even make a few of them!).
What’s included:
Using time-tested tools for self-inquiry drawn from modern psychology, astrology, numerology, reiki, yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation, we will get to know you from the inside out (not just your degree or current job title) so that you can take meaningful steps toward self-acceptance and love – which will benefit your relationships, career, creativity, health and finances.
You will receive:
Online, half-day retreat incorporating modern psychology and ancient wisdom practices (4 hours)
Pre-retreat 60-minute call to solidify your intention for our work together
Seven days of post-retreat support via email
60-minute post-retreat call to help launch you into the life of your dreams
